Stuart Morris MA DipEd
Stuart Morris has spent a lifetime in senior roles in the UK and international boarding school sector. Following his Master’s degree at Cambridge University, and Diploma in Education, Stuart went on to spend 15 years teaching Geography and English, and as Housemaster, at Stowe, a leading English public school.
An outstanding sportsman, he competed for Great Britain in Hockey at the Olympic Games. His first Headship was at the highly respected Papplewick Preparatory School in Ascot.
In 1990, he was appointed to set up the first co-ed secondary boarding school in Malaysia, Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar and the success of this venture led to him establishing Harrow International School Bangkok as its Founding Headmaster. Following six years with Harrow, he was then asked to be the Founding Headmaster of Shrewsbury International School, also in Bangkok. Both of these schools continue to flourish and grow in their own respective ways, which is testimony to the sound and lasting principles upon which they were founded.
Stuart’s extensive knowledge and understanding of the British and international education systems stays current and fresh through his Governorships of a number of schools both in the UK and overseas.
