February began for LSC Education in Doha, Qatar, where Edward Clark attended the British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) Annual Conference. Hosted by Doha College, the conference was held at the Intercontinental Doha, The City.

BSME has about 80 member schools. Delegates from many of these attended the conference, which provided an excellent opportunity to share thoughts on the latest educational issues, network and meet suppliers of educational goods and services. Keynote speakers included Alan November and James Nottingham.

For LSC Education, the conference provided a great chance to catch up with many of our outstanding candidates, who are leading schools in the Middle East, several of whom we appointed to their current posts, and others who are keen to consider their next career moves.

At LSC, we place heavy emphasis on the importance of relationships, getting to know our candidates well and ensuring that we understand their strengths and aspirations, so that we can help guide and support them through their careers.

We look forward to working with many schools and leaders in the Middle East over the coming year, and to meeting friends again at next year’s BSME conference.
